A walk can be time to explore

When we take these casual walks in the morning and evening, I am not focused on leash training. And that’s ok!

Over time, Inertia is learning how to walk politely on a short leash. But, leash walking is a pretty advanced skill for dogs to learn, and in the meantime I still want her to be able to explore and experience the world.

Remember, there’s a difference between leash walking training and giving your dog time and space to get to know their world. It’s important to relax and just enjoy new experiences with your dog sometimes, instead of always being 100% focused on enforcing rules 🤗
