Hi, I’m Zak.
I’m a Lebanese-American dog trainer, educator, and content creator, and I’ve been helping people build better relationships with their dogs for over two decades.
Since 2006, my work has focused on teaching practical dog training skills while challenging outdated ideas about dominance, punishment, and control.
My partner Bree and I are known for making dog training more accessible through YouTube, where our educational videos have reached millions of viewers worldwide.
Outside of dog training, we have also spoken regularly about the broader importance of compassion and ethics across cultures and borders.
We’re passionate about showing people how the values that guide humane training – minimizing harm, respecting autonomy, and building trust – reflect principles that extend far beyond the relationship between humans and dogs.
