I met George at the shelter after he had spent months there. He was strong, excitable and looking for a home. Taking him out of that shelter was just the beginning of a much bigger story than just teaching a few basic skills.

From the shelter into everyday life
George’s series follows our first day out of the shelter through training walks, meeting our dogs, basic training struggles and how we overcame them, some epic frisbee lessons, and the search for his next home.
His strength is obvious from the start. In fact, learning to let go of a toy turns into one of our biggest challenges.
