Eddie Campbell and K9 Kylo

Kylo was supposed to retire, but the cops who were supposed to be his “partners” shot him on his last scheduled shift.
On September 24, 2026, Portland police officers sent Kylo after Eddie Campbell, then opened fire after Campbell drew a gun. Campbell was killed. Kylo was later euthanized because of his injuries.
Kylo didn’t choose this risk. Humans chose it for him. Calling him a hero just takes attention away from who shot him.
Should police be held to the same standard as everyone else when they shoot a dog?
