On May 4 2026, a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputy unlawfully entered Daisy’s family’s fenced yard, shot Daisy, rendered her no aid and left her to die while they searched for the shell casing in the yard, and let loose the family’s other dog, who ended up at animal control where the family was charged $250 to bring her home.

Months later, the deputy who shot and killed Daisy has not been publicly identified, and the Sheriff’s Department still has not fully released the body camera footage.

What do you think – Should all police body camera footage in cases like Daisy’s be released?
